The lovely Roisin O will be doing Dublin Does Friday’s in Whelan’s front bar on Friday 12th October at 5pm. It’s going to be herself and the band playing some songs from her debut album and bopshop DJ BEEPBEEP.

There is complimentary finger food (actual food you can eat, not a band) and admission is FREE. There will be a couple of free drinks to be won too. Magic.

LEE FIELDS AND THE EXPRESSIONS

Lee Fields and his soulful voice will be heading over to Dublin to play for us once again this year. April saw him play The Sugar Club and Body & Soul found a home for his music too.

So November gives us one more chance to catch Lee Fields & The Expressions in The Sugar Club on Sunday 11th November 2012. Tickets for the show comes in at €22.90 inclusive of booking fee and are on sale NOW.

Amateur Historians do Hard Rock Café

Noisy pop act Amateur Historians are playing a show in Dublin this week. Thursday in fact.

They will be over at the Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday 11th October. Admission is FREE and doors are at 9pm. Their debut EP ‘New Homes/New Hopes’ was released in August this year and they are looking to spread the good word.

You Kiss By The Book – Album launch

You Kiss By The Book will be in Dublin on Sunday 21st October 2012 to launch their new album –  ‘Family Tree’.

The gig will be in The Stag’s Head with doors at 8pm. Support on the night is to come from Derrick Devine adn admission on the night will cost €6 or you can pay €10 in to get a copy of the album ‘Family Tree’ too.

Family Tree is available to buy on CD from Elastic Witch and The Rage. The digital download can be bought on bandcamp.
