Slackers to play Whelans

New York city ska is coming to Dublin in August when Slackers will be in town to play a headline show. They have confirmed they will play Whelans on Tuesday August 7th 2012.

Mary Coughlan to play Borris House

Mary Coughlan will play Borris House, as part of a nationwide tour on Saturday 23rd June. Tickets are €20 are available from Rollercoaster Records.The gig is in support of Coughlan’s recently release album ‘The Whole Affair’.

LA Guns

Glam metal act LA Guns ( which features Phil Lewis & Steve Riley ) will be in Dublin on Wednesday 21st November for a headline show.

The gig will be in The Village with doors at 8pm, tickets for the show are €20 inclusive of booking fee and are available from WAV Tickets on the WAV Box Office.

Trucker Diablo

Trucker Diablo have won the right to support The Black Keys and Foo Fighters on August 21st as part of Tennents Vital. It’s a huge result for the Northern Irish rockers and continues their great rise over the last few months.

Lets hope the crowd turn up early and check them out. Definitely worth a goo.

CFIT double A-side launch

CFIT will be releasing a FREE double A-side single through their Bandcamp on June 16th. The tracks are taken from their debut album ‘Triage’ and the two tracks are called Base Isolation and The Static.#

They will be playing a show at The Grand Social on the same date, with support from the excellent Little Xs for Eyes.

She Keeps Bees

Brooklyn based act She keeps Bees, are bring their blues rock to Dublin and a new album in the form of ‘Dig On’.

They will be in The Workmans Club on Tuesday July 24th 2012 with tickets for the show a measly €8 (how will they afford the flight home for goodness sake) and that’s inclusive of booking fee. Tickets will be on sale from Monday, June 18th 2012.

Dead School

Dead School have just announced that they will play The Academy 2 for a headline show on July 14th. They are set to record their debut album later this year but you can catch their current body of work live at this show.
