GRINDERMAN have announced an extra date due to phenomenal demand in Vicar Street on June 19th 2011.
Tickets for the show cost €49.20 from Ticketmaster.ie and tickets go on sale Thursday February 24th at 9am.

Mr. Big return with first studio album in 14 years
Shredding rockers Mr. Big are back with their first studio album in 14 years. ‘What If’ is the name of the new album and the lineup as ever features four of the worlds foremost virtuosso’s in their field, particularly Paul Gilbert who I’ve long been a fan of.

Mr. Big play The Button Factory on June 13th 2011 with tickets going on sale Friday February 25th at 9am. Tickets will cost €28.

The Wombats return for Dublin headline date
This Modem Glitch will be released in 2011 with no date set just yet but The Wombats will be back in Ireland next month for a headline date at The Academy in Dublin.

The gig will be March 20th and tickets will cost €20 inclusive of booking fee and are onsale now from Ticketmaster.ie

Architecture in Helsink for Dublin date
Modernist pop five piece Architecture in Helsinki will be in Ireland in April when they visit for a date in Dublin in The Button Factory.

Roisin O for Whelan’s headline show
Rising singer/songwriter Roisin O has announced a Dublin headline show at Whelan’s on March 31st. Support slots with The Coronas, Imelda May, Shay Cotter, Mary Black and Robert Cray have garnered her some very positive reviewers and some new fans and now she will play a headline show in Whelans.

Tickets priced €10 including booking fee go on sale on Wednesday 23rd February.

Cork Electronic artist TOBY KAAR will be playing a show upstairs in Whelans and will be joined by special guests COHERX and Junior85.

TKO announce Keystone EP
Dublin band TKO who won the Hotpress vote to play Castlepalooza and reached the finals of ‘Our Thursdays’ which helped them perform at Arthurs Day 2010.

Their new EP ‘Keystone’ will be released on March 18th and were being told to prepare ourselves for a knock out blow. They also have been confirmed for Vantastival in May and West Fest in June.

Kowalski announce two shows in February
Kowalski to play new club night Communion on Saturday 26th February in The Grand Social, Dublin. They will then play a second night on the Sunday February 27th in The Black Box, Belfast.

For the Dublin show, Kowalski shall perform their stunning live show with full force alongside We Cut Corners, Matt Korby and Kasette. Gypsies On The Autobahn announce support for Academy 2 date
Gypsies On The Autobahn’s upcoming headliner in Academy 2 in March has just announced some extra information of who will be supporting them on the night.
They have picked two great up and coming Irish bands which will be Little Green Cars and Consumer Love Affair. Tickets for the show are only €7 available via Ticketmaster.ie. Doors on the night are at 7pm.

Red Enemy announce Fibbers date
Red Enemy have announced a date in Fibbers with support on the night from Hero In Error, Fragment, Xenocide, Crows and finally We’re Wolves.

The gig will be on March 18th in Fibbers rock bar and tickets are €7 and available on the door with doors at 8.30pm.

Pop Punk still lives announce March lineup
Demented Promotions have announced the second night of ‘Pop Punk Still Lives’. The lineup featured US pop punk band Such Gold with support from Starters, Young Wolves, Stick Around and Anderson Mesa.

The gig is in Fibber Magees on March 11th with admission €10 on the door. Doors at 7.45pm.

Gland & Conduit announce debut album
Second Square To None have announced they will be presenting a new project from Herv and Meljoann which will be entitled Gland & Conduit.

Their debut album ‘ORE’ will be released with a launch gig in The Joinery in StoneyBatter on Thursday 24th February. There will be support on the night from Brian Conniffe and Suzanne Walsh and the SSTN DJ FYODOR.
