NewDad’s Julie Dawson has released a surprise solo single ‘Silly Little Song’ with the promise of more to follow. The track sees Dawson working with Belfast electronic producer Jack Hamill aka Space Dimension Controller and expressing herself in a new, otherworldly context.

Introduced by a mutual friend Dawson and Hamill constructed their collaborations from a playlist of Hamill’s instrumental ideas which Dawson build lyrical ideas upon. ‘Silly Little Song’ is the first fruit of this collaboration but the duo claim to have a sizeable body of work so expect to hear more glitchy goodness in the near future.
