We always like to hear of new things in Dublin, particularly on the music scene and it seems that over the weekend while i was out enjoying the sun and so forth, The Workmans Club announced itself to the world as a new music venue to open its doors this summer.
Situated just down the road from the Clarence Hotel on Wellington Quay, it is looking to be a venue where promoters, bands, musicians, artists and independent thinkers can have their idea’s realised and come to life. It is to be adapted to have a multitude of uses including rock gig, intimate acoustic, club nights or round the piano sing a longs as it aims to establish itself as one of Dublin top venue’s.
Daily lineups will have international and irish acts and plenty of diverse club nights, multi media takeovers, unique collaborations and limitless new musical adventures.
