Raidió na Life
‘Radio Station of the Year’ at Celtic Media Awards 2013! Congratulations to Radió na Life, a station that not only promotes Irish music, but helps keep the Irish language alive too. They have named as ‘Radio Station Of The Year’ at this years international Celtic Media Awards held in a Gala Awards ceremony in Swansea. Competition is always stiff at the festival which sees major broadcasters from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and France – notably big names such as RTÉ, BBC, S4C and TG4.
Muiris Ó Fiannachta, Station Manager with Raidió na Life said: “We are over the moon to have Raidió na Life chosen by our peers in the Celtic nations as Radio Station of the Year at the 2013 Celtic Media Festival, the first time in the festival’s 34 year history that a community radio station has been presented with the prestigious title. This is the same award which has been won by RTÉ Radio 1 and our friends in RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta in previous years. We could not be more proud of this achievement.”
You can listen to the station on 106.4FM in Dublin, online at www.raidionalife.ie and you can also download the free Raidió na Life app for smartphones from the Google Play store & the iTunes store.
