The Murder Capital have announced their biggest Irish headline show to date in Dublin’s Vicar street this February.

The Dublin quintet’s debut album ‘When I Have Fears’ entered the UK Top 20 and a reached #2 in the Irish charts upon its release in August.  Undoubtedly one of the Irish albums of the year the band can expect a Choice Music Prize nomination in the New Year.

To coincide with news of the group’s latest tour they have released a video for new single More Is Less which is perhaps the most visceral moment on the album.

We gave ‘When I Have Fears’ 4/5 upon its release.

Lyrically, James McGovern sends postcards from the starkest outposts of the human condition. The mind can be carcinogenic to the human spirit and the vista is often uncomfortably austere, chaotic, frayed and despondent – even bordering on the fatalistic.
