Following guest appearances on tracks from Sorcha Richardson and Ciaran Lavery, Saint Sister’s Morgana has finally unleashed her long-awaited debut solo single ‘I’ll Cry When I’m Dead’ with a video featuring Irish comedy legend Ardal O’Hanlon.
Morgana’s Ireland Music Week 2023 performance was a showstopping affair, unleashing a never before seen side of Morgana with a set of material more in common with the pulsating output of Caroline Polacheck and Rina Sawayama than her work with Saint Sister.
‘I’ll Cry When I’m Dead’ eases us into that new vein of songwriting, remnants of Saint Sister remain, but Morgana is clearly charting an exciting course towards the dancefloor.
Morgana is opening for Dermot Kennedy in Sligo on October 26th & 27th. Followed by a headline show at The Lexington, London on 13th November, and The Button Factory, Dublin 20th December (on sale Friday 18th). Tune into Morgana’s world here.
