Added to that is the announcement of a new Stage, The Red Bull Music Academy Arena which will come to Oxegen for the first time this year. Host to some of the most creative talents in Spain and Germany at festivals like Melt and Sonar, The Academy Arena will host the likes of Florence and the Machine, LadyHawke, Of Montreal and more cutting edge acts which are yet to be confirmed.
Tickets will go on general release on Friday 6th March 2009 at 08:00hrs nationwide and are priced at a 2008 price freeze of 224.50 Euro (incl. booking fee) for 3 day including camping ticket. For an extra 20 Euro fans can purchase a 4 day ticket including camping ticket to include Thursday also.

Flexible Payment
For 2009 OXEGEN is introducing another great first – The Ticket Deposit Scheme…a flexible way to pay for your ticket at no extra cost. Open to all fans, you can pay a 120 Euro deposit to secure your ticket and pay the remaining balance before 30th April 2009.
The Deposit Scheme will be open to all fans via local ticket outlets, 24hr telephone lines and online. Fans will be issued a receipt on payment of the deposit, tickets will then be issued on the payment of the balance outstanding. Details will be made available at oxegen.ie .
All ticket purchases for OXEGEN are limited to 4 per person – don’t forget that to encourage car pooling, one free car pass will be issued with every 4 tickets purchased.
