The first 24/7 wellbeing support programme for the Irish music sector, Minding Creative Minds (MCM) has announced a free of charge online meet and greet event for creative professionals seeking to learn more about MCM and share their own experiences navigating in the post-pandemic industry.

Whilst plans for the programme have been in place for a number of years, MCM officially launched in June 2020 as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the livelihood of Irish creatives. MCM provides support through a number of platforms including a 24/7 Dedicated Phone Line (1800 814 244), as well as secure video and live chat counselling services.

The event will be chaired by MCM director Ann-Marie Shields.

The first three meet and greet sessions provided a lovely opportunity to meet other creative professionals across the arts in a way that isn’t normally possible,” says Shields.

We’ve had people across Ireland tuning in and even some international peers attending too. Whilst this is a difficult time for many, there is a warm, positive and supportive atmosphere created by everyone who attends, making it easy to exchange information.

“In the break-out rooms we’ve had engaging discussions, sharing of stimulating ideas and enjoyable chats. Roll on April 19th!

The meet and greet session is set to take place on 19 April at 7pm. Sign up here and learn more about Minding Creative Minds here.
