The Meteor Camden Crawl Dublin has been announced today officially with a launch event in Whelans tonight for the brand new event which will take place in Dublin in May across fifteen venues in Dublin.
The event will take place on Friday 1th and Saturday 12th May spanning Dublin and will reputely feature over 100 acts mixing the established with hotly tipped acts to make the event a must see addition to the Dublin gigging cross section. It will feature the following venues… The Workmans Club, The Button Factory, Whelan’s, Upstairs @ Whelans, The Grand Social, Twisted Pepper, The Village, The Mercantile, Bernard Shaw, Speakeasy and Electric Lounge.
Who do we have playing I hear you ask. Hush child, the information is thus, amongst the first announced are LaFaro, Jogging, Dutch Uncles, Le Galaxie and Tieranniesaur amongst those announced for the event.
Tickets will cost €25 for a day pass or €40 for a weekend pass and tickets are exclusively available through entertainment.ie/camdencrawldublin and once the weekend your tickets will be replaced with wristbands which will grant you the freedom of the city, and by freedom of the city we mean into the venues where Camden Crawl acts are playing. There also will be guest appearances at the venues around Dublin as an added bonus, kind of like what they do with Arthurs Day, so you might arrive early for the show and be treated to something you weren’t expecting.
