Due to demand Washington rock legends Melvins have upgraded the Dublin date of their upcoming European tour to Vicar Street. Formed over 40 years ago, the Melvins are one of modern music’s most influential bands.

Founded by Buzz Osborne (vocals/guitar) in 1983 with drummer Dale Crover joining a year later, the Melvins pioneered a genre-defying fusion of punk rock and heavy music and have to date released over 30 original albums including their latest effort Thunderball (2025).

Today’s Melvins’ lineup features Osborne, Crover, Steven McDonald (Redd Kross) and Coady Willis (High on Fire, Big Business).The group will be joined by special guests Redd Kross in Vicar Street.
