The final of the Guinness ‘Our Thursdays’ events took place Thursday 9th of September in Lavery’s up in Belfast, Goldenplec were invited up along to attend but our excursion to Spain forced us to decline. As expected we missed an absolutely amazing night of music with four of the top acts in the country (by right not just our opinion) who had won through an incredible 800 original entries took to the stage to do battle.

Johnny Quinn from Snow Patrol opened proceedings announcing that whilst only three bands had originally been planned to play at studio venues on Arthurs Day, now all four bands would play at the main Arthurs Day celebrations on September 23rd.

Maud in Cahoots, Reko, Dave Peyton and Empire Saints all put in amazing performances on the night to a packed crowd with Maud in Cahoots emerging victorious on the night.

Guinness have now confirmed that the four bands will line out at the following venues
Maud In Cahoots @  St James’s Gate Brewery, Dublin
Dave Peyton @ Olympia Theatre, Dublin
Reko @ Savoy, Cork
Empire Saints @ Folan Quay, Galway

If your heading along to Arthurs day to any of the above venue’s your in for a treat.  Arthurs Day is September 23rd at venues across Ireland. Arthurs day is an over 18’s event.
