Heavy metal fans, we have bad news.
Just like Chic’s cancellation of their appearance at the Westport Music Festival, Mastodon‘s tour was hinging on certain cash cows to make the tour viable. In this case, Mastadon we depending on Sonisphere Knebworth Festival.
Due to the cancellation of that festival, Mastodon have been forced to curtail their tour shows and the two planned Irish dates in The Academy on July 3rd and 4th 2012 will now not take place. Mastodon wants to apologise to all their Irish fans and hope to reschedule for a show at a later date.
