Borris House in Co. Carlow is an amazing country house surrounded by surreal scenery and will soon be opening their doors to a series of monthly concerts that will be held in the manors ball room to the exterior of the house.
Kicking off the concerts is the gorgeous and talents Maria Doyle Kennedy who has enjoyed a mix of musical and acting success including recent appearances in Downton Abbey and leading role in Titanic on TV3, aswell as winning Best Supporting Actress at IFTA for her role in The Tudors and musically has been nominated twice for Meteor awards and played the likes of Glastonbury and Oxegen.
She will be in Borris House on Saturday 14th April with tickets for the €20 and tickets for the show are on sale now. The gates to the grounds will open at 6pm and guests are invited to bring their own picnic and enjoy the grouns of Borris House before a wine reception at 7.30pm before the gig at 8pm.
The evening will see the Dublin native air tracks from her forthcoming album SING which is due for release later this year.
