Other Voices alumnus Mahalia has announced her return to Ireland having played 4 successful dates around Ireland last November.

Her debut single Sober, drew comparisons to the likes of Erykah Badu, Sade and Lauryn Hill and paved the way for her to support Ed Sheeran and Emile Sande and collaborate with Rudimental and most recently Kojey Radical on Water.

Mahalia followed up Sober with Colours and most recently I Wish I Missed My Ex and the next step for the young Londoner is to deliver an LP “I don’t care what anyone else thinks – I’m writing an album. That’s the next thing,”

One of the people hoping to appear on that album will be Dublin soul sister Erica Cody “We talked about doing something in the near future. I feel like she’s my sister.”

Mahalia will perform at Dublin’s Grand Social, on Friday 19^th October 2018. Tickets €16 inclusive of booking fee, on sale Wednesday at 9AM.
