Currently sitting pretty at the top of the Irish charts with their début album ‘Absolute Zero’, Little Green Cars took some time out of their busy schedule to record a special session for Deezer. The session features three songs from ‘Absolute Zero’ recorded acoustically plus an exclusive cover of Bruce Springsteen’s I’m On Fire.
Goodbye Blue Monday is a gem with its beautiful soft vocals, harmonies and plucked guitar. The Consequences Of Not Sleeping and The Kitchen Floor continue on in a similar fashion dragging the listener into a sense of fuzzy comfort and relaxation.
Now it is hard to please Springsteen fans, and while it may never be possible to better anything the Boss works his magic on Little Green Cars do come pretty damn close. Their rendition of I’m On Fire is an absolute stunner.
