The Liss Ard Estate will once again play host to the Liss Ard Festival for the 2012 edition of the music, literary and food festival.
The fest will be on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th August (The bank holiday weekend) and takes place on the Liss ard Estate, Skibereen, West Cork. Early bird tickets have just gone on sale today. Early bird tickets are set at €69.50 for weekend camping, €50.50 for the weekend with no camping and €30.50 for a day pass.
Acts playing the festival include Chic, Toots & The Maytals, Mick Flannery, Lisa Hannigan, Paul Buchanan, Bob Mould, The Macrae Sisters, Roy Harper, West Cork Ukelele Orchestra (here’s hoping for a Lisa Hannigan duet), Tieranniesaur, Rhob Cunningham and more to be announced shortly.
Once early bird offer has finished tickets will be €89.50 for weekend camping, €70.50 for weekend with no camping and €39.50 for a day pass. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide. Festival over over 18s but accompanied children under 12 are welcome and free of charge. Gates at 9am and campsite opens on Friday at 5.30pm.
