Skibbereen is calling. It’s almost the very, very busy Bank Holiday weekend. Now it’s time to get your marker out for the Liss Ard Festival 2012.
With a multitude of options to choose from this weekend, Skibbereen has a cracking mix of literary and music to span your Saturday and Sunday. Headlining your Saturday and Sunday respectively are Nicolas Jaar and John Daly. Mixed in amongst the mayhem is Toots & The Maytals, Mick Flannery, Lisa Hannigan, Heathers, Chic and Tieranniesaur all covering the Main Stage over the weekend.
Low Mountain and Julie Feeney headline the Literary & Acoustic Stage with The Macrae Sisters, Nile Rodgers, Paul Howard, Joe Dunthorne and more appearing on that stage over the course of the weekend.
Some tickets are still available and might be a great chance to see Chic or Nicolas Jaar considering both those shows sold out in Dublin today. Weekend camping is €89.50, two day with no camping is €70.50 and a day pass is €39.50.
