OK so it’s December 1st, Christmas FM is back on the air and it’s safe to consider wearing the occasional Christmas jumper. So it’s the perfect time to mention that Lisa Hannigan has teamed up with An Post to help raise some money for the Simon Community.
“The Christmas Waltz” is a Christmas song that was written by Sammy Cahn and Julie Styne for Frank Sinatra, who originally recorded it in 1954.
An Post have chosen this song as the theme tune for their Christmas advert for 2014 and Lisa was asked to do a version of it.
All proceeds raised from the sale of this track will go directly to Simon Community to help tackle homelessness in Ireland. This track is available until December 24th only. It only costs €1 so grab it while you can, it’s gorgeous.
