Cork’s Everyman theatre and music company Islander are continuing their ‘Behind the Curtain’ series of live streamed gigs with a recently announced Lisa Hannigan performance.

Hannigan is currently working on her fourth studio album, her first since 2016’s critically acclaimed ‘At Swim’.

Earlier this month the series kicked off with a live trad session streamed from legendary Cork pub The Corner House.

Lisa Hannigan is an astounding artist, and we’re thrilled to have her lighting up the Everyman Stage in May for viewers and listeners at home. Our new state-of-the-art live streaming equipment means that her work can be brought to more people – log on and listen at home,” says Sophie Motley, Artistic Director of The Everyman.

The livestream of Lisa Hannigan’s performance will take place at 8pm on Friday 7 May, 2021.
