Live at the Docklands returns to the banks of the Shannon on the June Bank Holiday weekend with something on offer for every music fan.

The series of concerts, which has been on hiatus since 2019, marks yet another expansion for local music promoters, Dolans, who this year have already hosted concerts at St. John’s Castle, The Milk Market, and The Lime Tree Theatre, along with a myriad of gigs on Dolans’ many stages.

This year’s line-up sees the return of Jenny Greene with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, who kicked off the original Live at the Docklands series three years ago, local heroes Hermitage Green who have played virtually every stage in the Dolans repertoire, and the final night of the weekend sees The National making their debut on Shannonside with a show that has long since been sold-out.

Mick Dolan had this to say about the upcoming concerts  “The Live at the Docklands series will be all about giving audiences a spectacular audio-visual experience. The three concerts we have lined-up over the June Bank Holiday weekend will each give a unique concert experience on the banks of the River Shannon. It’s all hands on deck for the next two weeks for us as we get ready to erect the huge structure in Limerick Docklands in preparation for what should be another superb bank holiday weekend in Limerick city. The hunger is there for music and you can see it at every gig and we look forward to welcoming audiences to Live at the Docklands”.
