Wired FM Showcase
Limerick’s long running college radio station puts on its first gig of the year on Thursday, February 9th in the Record Room, with a host of up and coming acts including Seán Parnell, Rua Rí, 50 Foot Woman and Casando. And if that’s not tempting enough, it’s also free in on the door.
Toshín
Debuted in The Sugar Club late last year, Toshín brings her acclaimed Aretha Franklin show to Dolan’s this Friday, February 10th.
Skinner
The following night in the same venue the mighty Skinner is set to rock the Kasbah Social Club, with support from the powerfully ethereal His Father’s Voice.
Junk Drawer
As it happens Junk Drawer’s last appearance in Limerick was in the Kasbah Social Club, but this time out they are gracing Blindboy Boatclub’s favourite watering hole Pharmacia. You can catch the double NI Music Prize winners there on February 11th, also on the bill is Galway’s Oh Boland.
The Academic
Indie-pop darlings The Academic announced an Irish tour only a matter of days ago which will see them present their latest long player ‘Sitting Pretty’, they hit Dolan’s Warehouse on February 14th for what’s sure to be a perfect romantic date for their adoring fans.
Les SalAmandas
Les SalAmandas have just released the gorgeous single Mary’s Got Issues and Treaty City audiences can catch them live in the Record Room of The Commercial on February 17th.
Gemma Hayes
Tipperary songstress Gemma Hayes has been busy working on new material, she brings her sublime musical talents to Dolan’s Upstairs stage on February 18th, support on the night comes from Naimee Coleman.]
Fonda
Liam O’Connor mainstay and front-man of local band Fonda proved to be the perfect opening act to Richard Hawley in Dolan’s last year with a exquisite solo performance, on February 25th he returns for a headline date with full band in tow, and former Shrug Lifer Danny Carroll providing support.
Kill ‘Em Charlie
