Having already sold out 3 upcoming Irish shows in the Olympia and the 3Arena, Lewis Capaldi is set to play his biggest Irish headline shows to date in 2020 in Malahide Castle, Dublin and Irish Independent Park, Cork
Lewis Capaldi has been the breakout success of 2019. His debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a hellish Extent’ spent six weeks at #1 in the UK and was certified platinum just 10 weeks after its release and is the second highest selling album of 2019.
‘Divinely Uninspired to a hellish Extent’ also became the most streamed debut album of all time, spawning the hit single of the year in Someone You Loved, which spent 7 weeks at the top of the UK’s Official Singles Chart. Someone You Love, released has been streamed over a billion times since its release in March.
Someone You Loved has now reached America with the single currently sitting at #9 in the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S with memorable performances on shows such as The Late Late Show with James Corden helping him to break America.
Lewis Capaldi has already sold out The Olympia Theatre in November and two nights at 3Arena next March and is now set to add to those performances with two massive outdoor sets in Malahide Castle and Irish Independent Park.
However Lewis Capaldi shows no signs of the success going to his head earlier this year he played a show in Dublin pub The Bleeding Horse donating all proceeds to a local charity.
