Leanne Harte is a name I remember from earlier days of running GP. Reading back the press release tells you exactly why. Founding her own indie label, playing a live performance in Vicar Street at 15, award nominations, guitar endorsements. She was a very busy and in demand songwriter.
After a long break she is back with her upcoming ‘Restless Sleepers EP’ with a backing band consisting of Bob Gallagher on backing vocals, Sharon Hussey on violin and Yvonne Connaty on bass.
She will play in The Odessa Club on Dame Court on Thursday 13th September from 8pm. Support on the night comes from Aaron Finn and admission is €10 or €8 to the unwaged/students.
Leanne will also be playing at Hard Working Class Heroes this year. Do catch her there aswell.
