Forbidden Fruit 2013As we stare blindingly into the weekend sun. Yes we said SUN have you looked out the window lately.

Today down on the Forbidden Fruit site we were shown around and everything looks to have a similar layout to last year, so those of you who are familiar will be able to find your way around nice and handily.

On the June Bank Holiday Sunday, Forbidden Fruit Night picks up where the Forbidden Fruit Music Festival leaves off and continues later into the night. Last entry is 12:30am and you can only get in if you have a Forbidden Fruit ticket. It’s being held across three spaces in close proximity. Meeting House Square, The Button Factroy and IFI.

Hop on a free Bulmers bus to be dropped off at the East Essex Street entry point in Temple Bar and you’ll be greeted by the late-night city festival exclusively for Forbidden Fruit festival Sunday and Weekend ticket holders.  Live bands will perform across various venues, Meeting House Square will see an open air performance by artists Austra, Mykki Blanco & Trust. In the nearby Button Factory, catch DJ sets by Four Tet & Caribou (Back to Back) and Toro & Moi.

Over at the IFI, there will be an exclusive Forbidden Fruit Night Dj Sets by BBC Radio 1 host Star Slinger and Canadian newcomer Kaytranada. Meanwhile Screen 1 will host a Q&A session with a very special guest. After this there’ll be a special showing of the iconic concert film ‘Stop Making Sense’, featuring Talking Heads, the film has been hailed as ‘the greatest rock film ever made’. There is a limited capacity so access is on a first come first served basis.
