The annual Northern Ireland Music Prize was held in Belfast this week moving to an online format for health and safety reasons. The ceremony was presented by Gemma Bradley and Rigsy and featured performances from the likes of Arborist, Careerist, Joshua Burnside, Kitt Philippa, Phil Kieran and Sasha Samara.

The event also paid tribute to Bap Kennedy by posthumously acknowledging his contribution to the Northern Irish music scene as the recipient of this year’s Legend Award.

Kitt Philippa walked away with the main prize at this year’s NI Music Prize event, winning best album for the incredible debut ‘Human’. Best Single supported by Help Musicians went to Arborist for Here Comes The Devil.

The Oh Yeah Contender Award in Association with ATL Introducing for most promising up-and-coming act went to Sasha Samara, while the Best Live Act award went to New Pagans. Check out all of the winners below.
