The current situation is creating challenges for everyone, including arts organisations, requiring from them – at best – a huge amount of agility and being able to change plans mid-step. As part of this, the revised government guidelines on hosting outdoor events have led Kirkos to change next week’s Biosphere from a series of outdoor encounters to being entirely online. This decision was made, as they put it, ‘in order to create the safest and therefore most enjoyable space possible for Biosphere (now virtual) attendees, artists, Kirkos players and production crew.’

Almost all performances will be streamed live on Twitch and Instagram Live, and the entire week will be documented and available to watch in the weeks after the event.

Further details of the programme (as well as the main link for live-streaming) are available on the Biosphere Live page at kirkosensemble.com/biosphere-live
