Another internet sensation who was recently recommended to me when I was covering the topic of acts who made a name for themselves on YouTube is the aforementioned Kina Grannis.
She has multiple videos up of herself doing excellent covers and below we’ve embedded a video of one of her original tracks Valentine. We think she’s got something, potentially could be someone were hearing for a while as long as the writing is good enough.
She is playing an all ages show at The Academy 2in Dublin on Saturday October 1st. The American singer songwriter is going since 2001 and through the powers of YouTube has amassed a following and who independently release her first full length album in February 2010. One of the tracks from it “Message From Your Heart” aired during the SuperBowl to 97 million viewers.
