The August bank holiday weekend just got a little busier, this time down in the INEC in Killarney.

The new Celtic Rock Festival will feature performances from the likes of Simple Minds, Big Country, Cry Before Dawn, The Devlins and Cactus World News.

The event takes place on Friday July 29th where Big Country will play with special guests The Devlins and then on Saturday July 30th will have Simple Minds coming for their only Irish show this year. Joining them on the night with be Cry Before dawn and Cactus World News who have reformed after 20 years without Eoin McEvoy.

Tickets for the Friday cost €28 inclusive of booking fee and Tickets for the Saturday cost €49.20 / €54.80 inclusive of booking fee and then there is the option of a weekend ticket for both nights costing €65 for standing and €70 for seated.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and tickets can be obtained from Ticketmaster.ie and outlets nationwide.
