Kid Karate are famed for their raucous live shows, liberal use of big muffs, spontaneous covers, guitar solos and losing their clothes onstage.

The Dublin trio have been off the radar recently as they sought a replacement for their original drummer. The man tasked with that unenviable job, you could perhaps call him the bravest man in Irish music is ex Enemies drummer Oisin Trench.

Trench joins, Ian McFarlane of Squarehead on bass and Kevin Breen (guitar vocals) to complete the line-up.

The new look Kid Karate return bearing gifts in the form of EP Newspeak (listen below), which they will showcase along with old favourites such as Building, Heart, Louder and Two Times when they appear at Oslo in The Workman’s Club on Friday September 14th.

Also appearing on the night will be Oslo DJs featuring members of Otherkin.

And if that wasn’t enough to pique your interest, entry is a whopping nada. Doors midnight.
