Alternative folk singer Joshua Burnside will be following up 2020’s acclaimed release ‘Into The Depths Of Hell’ with a sister album entitled ‘Higher Places’ this summer. Burnside’s 2017 release ‘Ephrata’ brought him to prominence and landed him the Northern Irish Music Prize.
To coincide with the announcement, Burnside has also shared an acoustic rework of fan favourite Driving Alone In The City At Night – a stripped back mix allows his witty lyricism to take centre stage ahead of the elaborate electronic production on display in the original track.
‘Higher Places’ is set to be released on 4 May 2021 alongside a white vinyl edition of ‘Into The Depths Of Hell’.
