Twice winner of the meteor award in the best folk/trad category, John Spillane has toured the country and the world spreading joy with a mix of melodic tunes, entertaining stories and poetic lyrics.
He will be back in Dublin for a date in Whelans on Saturday August 13th. Doors are at 8pm and tickets cost the princely sum of €20 inclusive of booking fee available from the WAV ticket office and Tickets.ie.
He is already announced to play Abbey Tavern, Howth on Saturday 16th July 2011. Tickets are €17 and doors are 7.30pm with the show starting 9.30pm
