Jess Kav of Barq fame has joined forces with Havvk for a special version of Havvk’s track Always the Same in aid of MASI’s campaign to end direct provision for asylum seekers.

The collaboration is released as part of the ‘Can I Push Back?’ campaign which pins and badges as a wearable form of activism – to reassess how we as individuals respond in the presence of injustice and as a reminder to to assert our power and call it out when we witness it.

This powerful reimagining of Always the Same features a picture of Jess Kav’s mother Liz Kavanagh on the artwork. You can listen to Always the Same below. The track and ‘Can I Push Back?’ materials are available to buy from bandcamp.
