Some of the best unsigned bands in Ireland are set to do battle in search of the title of JD Set Champion 2010.
The JD set heats have been hotly contested at each turn and now we are gearing up for the final with the final being held next Thursday the 29th of April.
Tim Burgess of The Charlatans will judge the final along with Michelle Doherty from Phantom 105.2, Roisin Dwyer of Hotpress and Adam Murphy of Jack Daniels.
Previous winners include The Coronas(2005), The Chakras (2006) and We Cut Corners (2009)
Five bands will contest the final of The JD Set in The Village next Thursday, they are……….

Each band will play Live on the night, 2009 winners We Cut Corners will also treat revellers to a live set and then a DJ set from Tim Burges. The Winning band recieves the Title,Industry Advice from Tim Burgess, Studio time in Grouse Lodge, Inclusion of tracks on official JD Set CD (which comes with Hotpress) and PR Support.
Admission on the night is FREE. Doors at 8.30pm with first band starting at 9pm sharp.
