Speaking at the Irish launch of JD Roots, Delorentos co-lead singer, Ronan Yourell, said,

“We are genuinely excited about the chance to work closely with two of Dublin’s great new bands, The Minutes and We Cut Corners, on JD Roots. Dublin as a city and a place has a magical and powerful history, something which has had a massive influence on all of us for different reasons. Through our conversations to date, we’ve all got just a little bit excited about the possibilities and the chance  to pay tribute to some of the artists, which have been shaped by Dublin was too tempting to resist for all of us. The challenge will be to settle on a shortlist of songs and then brining something new, fresh and personal to them. It should be a really exciting live show.”
