Jape and Pillow Queens are the latest acts to be announced for the National Concert Hall’s welcome new ‘Landmarks’ Series which celebrates Irish album milestones with Mick Flannery set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album Evening Song on July 29th.

Jape aka Richie Egan will perform his first two solo albums in Cosmosphere (2003) and Ritual (2008) which shot the artist into the Irish consciousness following his stint in cult Irish noise-makers The Redneck Manifesto with Floating becoming one of the seminal Irish tracks of the ’00s,

Pillow Queens will celebrate the fifth anniversary of their critically-lauded debut ‘In Waiting’ which brought the group international acclaim culminating in their US Television debut on James Corden’s chat show.

Irish acts have always struggled with nostalgia so it’s nice to see The National Concert Hall introducing the Landmarks series.
