James Vincent McMorrow is back with brand new single ‘Paradise’, the latest taste of his highly-anticipated fifth album ‘Grapefruit Season’ out July 16th featuring the singles ‘Headlights’, ‘Gone’, ‘I Should Go’ (with Kenny Beats).

Paradise finds James working alongside Paul Epworth and Lil Silva and features a children’s choir because “it needed to feel naive and sincere. I’d assumed this song wouldn’t connect with a bunch of kids, but when they arrived in the studio they had learned every single line and couldn’t stop singing it. It reminded me why we make music: it’s not a selfish endeavour, it’s for everyone.”

Paradise continues McMorrow’s recent run of upbeat, summery singles, indicating that ‘Grapefruit Season’ could provide the soundtrack for Ireland’s summer. James Vincent McMorrow will hit the road in support of ‘Grapefruit Season’ next year with dates in the Olympia Theatre, Big Top Limerick and Belfast pencilled in (details below).
