JVM, James Vincent McMorrow is going to play a headline show in Whelans  this summer.

He will be heading to the venue to play on June 17th following up on the success and following generated by his debut album Early in the Morning, which was launched with a string of Irish dates including a performance in a packed Sugar Club.

He has had “We Dont Eat” taken from the album and included on One Tree Hill and another of his tracks “Follow You down to the red oak tree” will be featured on a Barnardos TV Campaign.

He was quoted as saying

It really feels like this album finally says exactly what I’ve always wanted to say, sounds exactly like I’ve always wanted to sound. I’ve taken a lot of interesting turns in the last 2 years, had some amazing experiences, made some amazing mistakes. One day I stopped, sat down, thought about what I truly wanted to be as a musician, and this album just arrived. It’s indelibly me, it makes me happy, and whatever happens to it beyond that, it is all good

Tickets for the show will be €13.50 and are on sale Friday 16th April.
