The ninth Irish Youth Music Awards take place in the Aviva Stadium Dublin, on Saturday, April 16th. The awards see musicians aged 12 – 19 represent their communities and compete in front of some of Ireland’s leading music professionals. As well as providing an opportunity to impress music professionals, the awards include a series of lectures aimed at furthering contestants’ fledgling careers in music.
The winners will receive five days recording in a studio with equipment provided by Music Maker Dublin. The results of these sessions will be released on physical CD with a professional design and distributed worldwide via iTunes, Spotify and other outlets.
