On this week’s round-up of the best new Irish music we present for your consideration ‘Jetlag’ the debut album from Senu and ‘The Sky Is Bleeding’ the third EP from everybody’s favourite Irish exile Biig Piig.

Big guns like James Vincent McMorrow and Kojaque build towards the release of their respective new albums with the release of Paradise and Wickid Tongues. At the other end of the spectrum there’s debut releases from Cork’s Leah Rose, AÓS, Avelina, Leveland, Wornoc, Les SalAmandas and Belfast post punks Enola Gay. While Just Wondering continue to stand out from the crowd with their infections upbeat vibes on their brilliant third single Bicycles.

It’s a healthy week for Irish hip hop: Malaki drops The Riddler, Strange Boy previews his debut album by saying his Prayers, while Gaptoof chills out on Polymer with a little help from Carrie Baxter. The A92 crew are also on hand with Spin Dat, while A9Dbo hops on Nobody 2.0 with Alicia Raye.

The Irish electro scene is holding it’s own with bangers from Krystal Klear, Walk Then Dance and Ejeca while Uwmami teams up with Kendino for an excellent collab.

In the mainstream pop realm, Roisin O returns with radio friendly number 2023, Josh Gray worries he’s getting Too Comfortable and Elkin continue to weave a strong political message into their bops on latest single Clothes, while Colohan continues to make his presence felt with Time To Go.

Dundalk’s Elephant return with Envy, their first single in quite some time and keeping the folk vibes going are Maria Kelly with her second single of 2021, Eight Hours and Conchúr White shares the titular track from his upcoming ‘Dreamers’ EP.

All this plus new tunes from Anatu, Matt The Seeker, Nara, Rachel Barror, Robert John Hope, Niall McDowell, Jordan Run, Cherym, 7eddy, Neomadic, Saige, Team RKT, Fya Fox and more besides.
