This week’s round-up of the best new Irish music is a dance heavy affair with new tunes from rising DJs Shane Codd and Kettama. Biig Piig preview her long-awaited debut album with ‘Ponytail’ produced by long-time collaborator Mac Wetha, while Shee completes an impressive 2024 with ‘Close To You’. Olive Hatake celebrates the extended version of his album Boys Need More Love with ‘These Feels Again’ featuring Tony Konstone. New artist Buza delivers the Weeknd-esque ‘Look What You’ve Done’ while David Gueta gets his hands on U2 and Robert Grace gives ‘Jingle Bells’ a modern twist.

Irish hip hop is represented by 7Eddy (clutch), NONZUS MAGNUS (For All My Dogs), Gaff hooks up with Mattie Cozart for ‘CTRL’, while Shakalak deliver some poetry on ‘Gimmy’.  Teddy Is Offline and R.l. Beats leads this week’s selection of kooky singer songwriters, while The Washing Machines introduce themselves with their debut single ‘Hard Hearted Boys’.
