This week’s round-up of the best new Irish music features HamsandwicH’s career-spanning live album which was recorded in Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre last October. Havvk deliver their third and best album to date ‘To Fall Asleep’, while TravIs & Elzzz return with their second collaborative album ‘Doghouse’. Their debut ‘Full Circle’ was a major omission from the Choice Music Prize 2023 shortlist.

Dermot Kennedy returns with his new EP ‘I’ve Told The Trees Everything’ while Northern Ireland’s finest noise merchants Nerves bring us their debut album ‘Glórach’ while sibling emo duo Greywind offer up their latest EP ‘Antidote’.

There’s notable returns for LA based Corkonian, Lenii with Dirty Blonde, while Fight Like Apes deliver a rousing cover of Sinead O’Connor’s Black Boys On Mopeds. There’s impressive debuts from Burglar and Emma Fowler while Elle Coves continues to impress with her pristine brand of country-tinged pop.

From the indie pop of Somebody’s Child to the dance tinged hip hop of Celaviedmai to the classic balladeering of Michael Moloney, there’s something for everybody this week. Villagers and Lemoncello build towards their upcoming albums with tracks from different ends of the folk spectrum while Bklava leads this weeks barrage of dance tracks.

And if that wasn’t enough to contend with there’s new music from the likes of Ryan Ennis, Bicep, Ryan Mack, Vi0let,  Alicia Raye, Ciaran Lavery, Dea Matrona, Mundy and Caleb & Walshy and much more besides.
