Orla Gartland’s supergroup Fizz continue to build towards their debut album with the release of their stripped-back fifth single ‘You, Me, Lonely’, while Luz Corrigan continues her comeback with the Lizzie McAlpine-esque ‘Not Going Anywhere’.
It’s great to see David Hedderman of The Immediate return to the fold with his debut solo single ‘Blue Jeans’ produced by his old bandmate Conor O’Brien. John Francis Flynn, meanwhile, returns with his remarkable reimagining of ‘Mole In The Ground’.
Newcomers, Megan Nic Ruairí and Toria impress with their atmospheric new singles ‘The Woods’ and ‘Touch Me’ while indie pop act Four Faces deliver their best song to date with the release of the uptempo ‘Better Option’. And speaking of pop, Picture This are back and they’re ‘Ready For Love’ , while The Valmonts will be hoping to get in on some of the pop rock action with their sad bop ‘Cry & Get a Little Drunk’.
