It may be the biggest festival weekend of the Irish calendar but that hasn’t deterred Irish artists from absolutely lashing the songs out this week. Tebi Rex’s Filmore delivers his debut solo release. The eponymous collection melds rock and hip hop together with a little help from MothMon and Uppbeat.

Tallaght artist VJ Jackson returns with ‘Changes’ his first collection since 2021 featuring the catchy ‘No Problem’ while the spectral world of Maija Sofia expands with the release of her ethereal second album ‘True Love’. Buoyed by his Choice Music Prize ‘song of the year’ nomination, bedroom pop artist Walshy delivers his debut solo album ‘Few Beers’,  while Archy Moor will hope to capitalise on the success of recent singles with his second EP of the year ‘Cosy’.

Ash continue to prep for the release of their new album with another melodic throwback ‘Crashed Out Wasted’, while coverstar Bobbi Arlo, who recently picked up a UK manager shares the slick pop track ‘Ode To Ü’. Record breaking hip hop artist TravIs showcases opens up on ‘Dear Diary’ which postpunks Scattered Ashes team up with Gilla Band’s Dan Fox for ‘Homeowners’.

The Mary Wallopers bring some devilment to proceedings with ‘The Blarney Stone’, while Mick Flannery showcases a darker side of his songwriting abilities with ‘Young’. Annika Kilkenny, meanwhile, delivers her debut single ‘Look Mom I Made It’ – which landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.

Hotly tipped shoegazers She’s In Parties continue to impress with ‘L Word’, while Super Extra Bonus Party continue their welcome return with’Line Before the Line’ featuring Emma Hanlon of Silverbacks.

Bellfast Moonboot hook up with Leo Miyagee for the chilled out jam Feel, other collabs include Gav and Alex Gough’s ‘Feeling It’, Rachel Baror and Tom Coruso’s ‘Too Much’, 1000 Beasts and Tomike’s ‘Cherry Delight’ and Odd Numbers and Fynch’s ‘Uncut Gems’.

There’s also new tunes from Coolgirl, Theo, Reevah, Reylta, Ultan Conlon, Greg Clifford, Problem Patterns, Clarity, One Morning in August and Rhoshi AKA Dublin producer Ethan Forbes-Roe delivers his delivers hi debut album ‘Image’.
