This week’s round-up of the best new Irish music features the brilliant new album from the world’s finest punk band Lankum. It’s a big week for Irish dance music with the return of the bassiest duo in Ireland, The Cope return who deliver new single ‘Oiche’, while Yunè Pinku builds to the release of her new EP BABYLON XI with the release of ‘Sports’. NI DJ Louise DaCosta returns with ‘All Night’, while 1000 Beasts and Malaki connect on ‘Brigitte Bardot’ and Peter Voegelaar takes ‘Sides’ with Haelium.

Maynooth’s Nell Mescal continues to take the world by storm with her third single In My Head while fellow London-Irish artist Siobhán Winifred delivers her most sombre track to date ‘Sober’, elsewhere in singer-songwriter land A.S. Fanning impresses with his latest single Mushroom Cloud and Seba Safe continues to evolve into a more upbeat sound with ‘On My Way’.

Irish Hip hop has shown up this week new tracks from Offica, Jehnova and newcomer Rhubarb Jesus, while there’s sweet collabs from Fortune Igiebor and Jafaris (Think About It) and T.Tokz and Junior Evans pop champagne for the kulture on ‘9ja Coffee’.

If pop is more your vibe we’ve got you covered with new jams from Fya Fox, Pastiche, Olivia Burke and Luke Dunleavy while in rock Northern Ireland leads the way with new tracks from The Wood Burning Savages, Amy Montgomery, Drew Makes Noise and Chalk while hotly tipped Dubs Clay Pigeon Shooting deliver their second single ‘I Wish’ and fresh from a successful UK tour Vernon Jane build towards their second album with the release of ‘Praying 2 Angels’
