This week’s round-up of the best new Irish music sees Shiv make her major label debut with her excellent new single ‘Late Now’. Aby Coulibaly reminds us why she is one of the hottest rappers in Ireland right now with ‘Rewind’, while up-and-coming producer Poser turns Alice Kiernan’s poem about her love-hate relationship with Ireland into a rousing lament.

Experimental outfit Meltybrains? have delivered their new album ‘You’ featuring new single ‘Alone With Buddha’ while U2 have shared a reworked version of ‘With Or Without You’ from their upcoming reworks release and Sorcha Richardson has shared a radio edit of Jackpot from her Choice Music Prize nominated album ‘Smiling Like An Idiot’.

Conor Miley delivers ‘Father’s Day’ an impressive debut single about fighting for parental rights in Ireland, while Seba Safe returns with the Benjamin Francis Leftwhich-esque ‘Afterlife’ as Dylan Flynn and The Dead Poets build-up to the release of their debut album with ‘More’.

Levi Evans, meanwhile continues the U2 connection with ”You I Think of’ his collaboration with Chameleon. Also on collaboration train are Chloe Agnew & Zapho with ‘Ladies’ a slice of girl power under The X Collective banner. Wild Youth continue their quest to become day-time-radio stalwarts with ‘We Are You’, Shane Codd delivers ’90s dance vibes with ‘Same Mistake’

It’s stacked week for hip hop and R’N’B alongside the aforementioned Shiv And Aby Coulibaly, Outsider YP continues his merciless release schedule, while JyellowL, Archy Moor, Costello XII, AikJ, Dylz, Rebel Phoenix and Nonzus Magnus bring their unique flavours to proceedings.

It’s a bumper week for rock acts too. Psychedelic punks The Love Buzz return with ‘Kaleidoscope’ and Banrion lament another friend heading off to pastures new on ‘Departure Party’ while the likes of Kill’em Charlie, Powder House and The Neon Cars stake a claim with new tracks.

And if that wasn’t enough there’s also new singles from while Lavengro, Layzee Gold, Neve, Sam Casey,  Rory Reid, Saige, Brother Vice, Qoma, Myles McCormack, Owen Denvir, The Flavours,  Taylor Lally and more besides.
