Irish singer songwriter Luz has been nominated for a prestigious Ivor Novello Rising Star Award. The Offaly singer who has been releasing music since 2018 has built up a solid fanbase thanks to songs such as I’m Lonely, We’ll Be Fine and The Author which have over 47 million streams combined on Spotify alone.

Luz faces stiff competition in the form of Matilda Mann, Pink Pantheress, Ashaine White and Naomi Kimpenu. Winners will be announced at the ceremony on 19th May. See the full list of nominees here
