Irish pop artist Baba has shared details surrounding her debut album ‘Truth’ which will be released on Friday 30th May via Welcome To The New World – Pre-save.
‘Truth’ was crafted in Dublin, LA, Lisbon and Kilfenora with the help of co-writer/co-producer Enda Gallery and includes the singles ‘Love Like This’, ‘Sad Party’ and ‘Apollo’.
“This album is my story—my journey through the highs and lows of recent years, shaped by love, loss, and the search for meaning,” says Baba about this incredibly personal body of work.
“It is an honest reflection on grief, resilience, and self-discovery, born from my struggles with fertility, the heartbreak of baby loss, and the mental health challenges that followed. It is a story about facing the complexities of healing while embracing those glorious moments of love, joy, nostalgia, and hope. Always hope. There was room for some bangers in there too!”
Baba will celebrate the release of ‘Truth’ with a headline show at The Workman’s Cellar, Dublin on Friday 23rd May. Tickets €18 + booking fee on sale this Wednesday 19th February at 10am. Tickets.
