Rising Irish neo-soul star and Dublin native Nnic returns with her latest single The Place ahead of her headline Dublin show in Whelan’s this month. With over ten years worth of classical vocal training under her belt, Nnic’s sound and songwriting passion blends a mixture of exact, ballad-like melodies with fresh electronic sampling.

Produced by Adam O’Regan and Dylan Lynch (Little Green Cars & Soda Blonde), the track brings her delicate vocal delivery into larger canvas to give the song a strong, focused progression.

Nnic quotes the words of Belgian psychotherapist Esther Perel as part of the inspiration for the song: “The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.“ The Place is an ode to those words, and to the everyday moments that build a relationship’s unique foundation.
